Updates

And then again, there comes the night creeping into our world. It is time to say goodnight, but first let me tell you what my life has been like over the past month! About my crush, it has disappeared within the wind. I have no idea how it left, it just did. I have no questions. I am happy that it did. Now I can focus more on my work, and just being myself wherever I am.
To complete a month of events, I must summarize. I am in college at the present moment, taking four courses, mostly ridiculous ones, such as music appreciation, Hebrew *language, and student development. The fourth course is not as bad as it could have been. English provides a place for me to express myself in writing. The only complaint I have is that I have to read this book which I will soon have to analyze for my professor. Unfortunately, I am a slow reader and have no patience for books. My friend says that I must practice my reading starting with newspapers and articles from magazines. I don't intend on learning to enjoy reading anytime soon... but if I ever do develop a taste for it, I'll surely let you all know.
As for the holidays, It has been lovely, and very relaxing. I am waiting for the holiday of Succot, where all the people come together and celebrate their past (forefathers).

Until next time.

Why don't you incorporate acting into your reading. Say your reading an article about the news, pretend you're a newscaster, reading a short story, pretend you are the characters etc. That might help because I can't stress enough how you got to start reading if you want to take the stress off of college.
The good news, your talent for writing will help you immensely.

thanks for the ideas. I actually find it easier if I listen to soft music while I read. This way, I'm not concentrating on how much I have read or how much there is left. I am more focused on the story of the book.
